The client wanted a private residence with all modern amenities. The design explored the traditional small courtyard with a modern spin. The courtyard coupled with large windows throw in ample light and also helps passive ventilation during the summers. The design also explores the possibility of maintenance free materials for the exterior, while striving to achieve a modern yet inviting look for the interiors. The project was delayed for almost a year due to ill health of a family member of the client, and recently we observed that the client has taken up execution without informing us. All the best to the client.
