The ENGENE lab is touted to be the best designed lab in Tata Steel R&D, Jamshedpur. It did more justice to this title by bagging the prestigious 'Most Innovative Laboratory of the Year', at the Future of Labs and Awards 2018, Mumbai. The young, dynamic client team take pride in the innovative work they undertake in the laboratory and coupled with an equally responsive design it enhances the work culture considerably. With innovative use of limited space, arrangement of lab and social spaces, providing breakout spaces and being energy conscious with help of solar photo-voltaics, the lab captured the fancy of the jury over competing labs from LUPIN and SUN pharma.
