Project Name: Heritage Bungalow project at Naomundi

Location: Noamundi Mines (Tata Steel)

Built up area : Approx 5,000 sq.ft with separate landscaped area.

Status : Proposal Stage

Tata Steel had set up mines at various locations including Noamundi in Jharkhand. An existing Bungalow previously used as an electrical and pumping utility building is now defunct as mining has been completed in that particular area.  As a tribute to the glorious history it is proposed to convert this Bungalow into an archive which will speak out the story of the past to the visitors.

A colonial styled building the Bungalow would require some major additions to adapt it to its new purpose. To complicate the matters further there were some unplanned modifications made to the bungalow which cannot be reversed, thus forcing the design to compensate. The design proposes to utilize the design elements from the colonial architecture era and provide a glorious representation of the past. Let the story begin !!!!.
