United Club is a famous club for the population of Jamshedpur. It's popularity stemming from it's various offerings and the quality of services. An existing lounge named "Chaupal" was taken up for renovation. The aim was to reinvigorate the space and add a touch of class and zing. 

The design envisaged removal of false ceiling to lay bare the marvelous arched ceiling with the long forgotten 'I' section steel beams from the past "Tata iron and steel company". All unnecessary cladding were promptly removed, bringing about the old materials and lost glory. The minimal cladding in the design was done to hide imperfections of an age old building, but with materials with close resemblance to the original, both in intent and colour.

The final product was a warm inviting and luxurious lounge.
